Lemon-Cream Biscuits are a delightful treat that combines the tangy flavor of lemon with the rich and creamy texture of biscuits. These biscuits are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a sweet snack any time of the day.

To make Lemon-Cream Biscuits, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

To prepare the biscuits, start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the cold cubed butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate bowl, combine the heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Pour the cream mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can result in tough biscuits.
